📜 History

G2 Esports is a German esports organization founded in 2014 by Carlos "ocelote" Rodríguez Santiago, a former professional League of Legends player. Originally named Gamers2, the organization rebranded to G2 Esports in 2015.

The organization quickly became a dominant force in European League of Legends, winning 10 LEC (formerly EU LCS) championships. Their LoL roster featuring players like Caps, Perkz, Jankos, and Wunder became one of the most successful European teams in Worlds history.

G2's expansion into other esports has been equally successful. Their CS:GO roster featuring NiKo has been a consistent top-10 team, and their Rocket League division has won multiple RLCS World Championships.

Known for their entertaining social media presence and confident swagger, G2 has built one of the most recognizable brands in esports. The organization continues to compete at the highest level across multiple titles.
