📜 History
Team Liquid is a multi-regional professional esports organization founded in the Netherlands in 2000. Originally started as a StarCraft: Brood War community and clan, Team Liquid has grown to become one of the most decorated esports organizations in history.
The organization took a major step forward in 2015 when it merged with Team Curse, combining resources and talent to create a powerhouse across multiple titles. This merger brought the iconic Team Liquid brand into League of Legends and expanded their presence in other games.
In 2017, Team Liquid won The International 2017 (Dota 2), claiming one of the largest prize pools in esports history at the time. The organization has continued to invest in top talent across Counter-Strike, Valorant, and other competitive titles.
Under the leadership of co-CEO Steve Arhancet and founder Victor "Nazgul" Goossens, Team Liquid has built a reputation for professionalism, player development, and consistent high-level performance across all divisions.
