📜 History

Evil Geniuses (EG) is one of the oldest and most storied esports organizations in the world, founded in 1999 in the United States. The organization has been a dominant force in competitive gaming for over two decades.

EG's Dota 2 division reached its peak in 2015 when they won The International 5 (TI5) with a roster featuring young prodigy Sumail "SumaiL" Hassan, captain Peter "ppd" Dager, and veteran Clinton "Fear" Loomis. Their victory made SumaiL the youngest TI winner in history at just 16 years old.

Beyond Dota 2, Evil Geniuses has had significant success in fighting games, CS:GO, and other competitive titles. Players like Justin Wong in the FGC and individual CS:GO talents have represented the blue and white banner with distinction.

The organization underwent significant changes in the 2020s but remains a recognizable name in esports, synonymous with North American competitive gaming excellence.
