📜 Team History
Natus Vincere (Latin for "Born to Win"), commonly known as Na'Vi or NAVI, was founded in December 2009 in Ukraine. The organization quickly became one of the most recognizable brands in esports, particularly in Counter-Strike and Dota 2.
Na'Vi made history by winning the first-ever Dota 2 International tournament in 2011, taking home $1 million. Their Counter-Strike team, featuring legendary players like markeloff, Edward, and Zeus, dominated the early CS:GO era and won multiple Major championships.
The arrival of Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev in 2016 ushered in a new golden era. Under his leadership, Na'Vi won the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and IEM Cologne 2021, with s1mple being widely regarded as the greatest CS player of all time. Despite challenges from the Ukraine conflict, Na'Vi continues to compete at the highest level.
